My name is Dave Pierson and I’m the founder of EZWP. I have been designing web sites for more then 15 years. My career has included being the technology manager at the Poynter Institute, a staff photographer, deputy photo editor, and photo technology manager at the former St. Petersburg Times newspaper. At the paper I collaborated with the web staff as The Times developed their web site. In the early days of the internet all web pages were constructed using computer code hyper text markup language (HTML), thus creating beautiful designed web sites was always challenging and time consuming. I was aware of WordPress when it was created in 2003 and was quickly adapted for creating blog web sites.
Fast forward to 2010 when I began to make hybrid web site that had both static web and interactive blog pages. My choice was WordPress because it was designed to be both powerful and flexible full content management system (CMS) capable of making beautiful, fully functional web sites. Since 2010 I have worked almost exclusively in WordPress. I have made numerous WordPress sites and also have converted several older HTML sites into WordPress sites.
